【Research Interests】

Membrane science and technology, with special interest in,

(1) wastewater treatment and reuse

(2) membrane bioreactor technology

(3) forward osmosis-based technology for wastewater reclamation and energy recovery

(4) membrane fouling and fouling control

(5) membrane technology for waste activated sludge (WAS) treatment


I have published more than 60 papers. The h-index and citation are 17 and 891 based on the Google Scholar, respectively, and they are 14 and 511 according to the ISI Web of Science, respectively. The list of selected publications is as follows.
